Schwarz ‘The Butcher’ Zweigelt 2021 Review
Hans Schwarz followed the family business as a butcher, hunter, and farmer. His vineyards were so well attended that at some point the local co-op he sold to asked if he would like to try winemaking. He did and released his first vintage in 1999. This bottle is delicious with a nose of spiced meat and wild berries. It's medium-bodied on the palate with deep fruit and balanced acidity.
