Trimbach Riesling Réserve 2013 Review
Super classic, textbook Alsatian Riesling: dry and moderate-plus in body, with a plethora of lush peach, Meyer lemon, orange blossom, honey, and wet stones. There’s tons of texture and acidity here as well, making the fruit more tart and lip-smacking on the palate than the nose, despite the broadness. Extremely well-balanced, complex, and an excellent example of the dry, tart side of Riesling.
