Rutherford Ranch Chardonnay 2016 Review
This is an elegant, gentle style of Napa Chardonnay. Aromas include Granny Smith apples, Bartlett pears, white peach, and a hint of wild flowers. Flavors are crisp and somewhat reminiscent of biting into a tart green apple. There is a little oak, but only a hint. If you’re looking for a buttery or creamy Chardonnay, this is not the wine you’re looking for. This is crisp, tart, and subtle.
