Ravines Wine Cellars White Springs Vineyard Dry Riesling 2017 Review
The classic Riesling petroleum/gasoline aroma is nice and tame here, allowing other aromas to emerge, such as orange peel and honey. On the palate though the petrol takes center stage as the acidity flabs out, sacrificing a long finish for a fleeting moment. If you are in a pinch and need a bottle for that BYOB and spicy menu this will do, but as a gift or for a focused wine event this wine does not represent the grape properly.
