Ravines Wine Cellars 'Maximilien' 2015 Review
If you're a New Yorker you’ll be happy to rep this wine with your state pride. It’s a balanced Bordeaux inspired blend with a deep earthy nose of fresh soil, blackberries and cedar (like upstate itself). The palate lightens things up a bit, with that Finger Lakes acidity calming the depth, but not too much. It’s a solid wine and would be enjoyed by everyone at the dinner party. The only catch is this is not an easy wine to find.
