Ram's Gate Winery Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2019 Review

Ram's Gate has a wide range of Pinot Noir from different vineyards and different terroirs and this is a good starting point with their lineup. This wine is a great introduction to Sonoma Pinot Noir, it has the depth and oak of a Russian River Valley wine with the acidity and lift of a Pinot from the Sonoma Coast. The nose is heady with dark cherry and quiet oak aromas. The palate is lithe and lacks a bit of fruit depth but would go great with an artisanal cheese plate.
