In the world of aged spirits, sherry-cask-finishing has become a well-known practice. However, this Pedro-Ximenez-finished release stands out in the bourbon space, where the use of sherry barrels remains much less common. The final resting period and vessels amplify the already sweet and smooth character of its wheated mash bill, while introducing sophisticated savory notes and an extra layer of opulence.
