Pullus Sauvignon Blanc 2022 Review
Looking for a Sauvignon Blanc with a cool backstory? This bottle is from one of the oldest cellars in Europe. The Ptujska Klet winery, based in Ptuj, Slovenia has been storing and aging wine in these underground tunnels since 1239. Now, the winery also has a more modern facility above ground where they make cool-climate wines under the Pullus label. The steep, rolling hills of Slovenia contribute to the freshness in this bottle. It has notes of Meyer lemon and grapefruit, and a wonderful crisp acidity that makes it all too easy to drink.
