Pride Mountain Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 Review

Pride Mountain Vineyards has land that straddles both Sonoma and Napa County. The property has been around since the late 1800s after county lines were drawn. The Summit Ranch was sold to the Prides by John Gamble of Gamble Family Wines in 1989, and today they continue to make age-worthy wines from atop the mountain. This is a wine you can watch age. Right now the nose is a bit closed, showing mild fruit and some new tannins. You can tell on the palate, with its rich round fruit and nice depth, where it is going. It’s drinking well now with some decanting, but in a few years it feels like this wine is going to sing.
