Orr Wines Old Vine Chenin Blanc 2023 Review
Lab technician-turned-winemaker Erica Orr was told by a friend in 1998 that making wine was fun. She took the bait and today has her own label in Washington. The state is known for Merlot and Riesling, but these days the Rhône and Loire Valley grapes are making a showing. This wine shows the refreshing side of Chenin. It's floral and salty on the nose, and the palate brings orchard fruit notes and great acidity.
