Ornellaia 'Le Serre Nuove dell'Ornellaia' Bolgheri Rosso DOC 2015 Review

A big ol’ Super Tuscan wine for a big ol' juicy steak. This is one of those splurge-y wines you get at a steakhouse or a focused intimate dinner party with heaps of protein. It is slathered with oak and well blended, with each variety contributing to a distinct structure and dry tannin texture. It’s also quite young and can age well into the future. It’s an Italian, but could be mistaken for a Napa red blend.
