Mount Veeder Winery Reserve Red Blend 2019 Review
The high elevation Mount Veeder vineyards tower over Napa Valley. They soak up the sun at up to 3,000 feet above sea level and produce wines very distinct from those grown on the valley floor. The winery claims to be the first in California to plant all five Bordeaux varieties, all of which are included in this blend. It has nice earthy fruit like plums and blackberries, with hints of vanilla and spice from oak aging. Firm tannins and bright acidity make this an age-worthy red blend.
