Mount Peak Winery Gravity Red Blend 2019 Review
I am not sure what varieties are in this wine. There is no indication on the bottle or the producer's website. But what I do know is that the fruit is from Sonoma's Monte Rosso Vineyard. So, in a way, I don't need to know. It's one of Califonia's legacy vineyards once owned by the Martini family, who was instrumental in the development of the wine industry of Napa and Sonoma. This wine has high alcohol, but it works. The nose is deep and soulful with welcoming dark berry fruit. The mouthfeel is silky smooth and palate-coating at the same time. There is an ease to this powerhouse of wine and I'm here for it.
