Monte Rosso Estate ‘The Essence’ 2024 Review
Moon Mountain, high in the Mayacamas Mountains above the Sonoma Valley, is where these old vines grow. The sun is plentiful, and the air is rare. The result is a deeply savory Zin with bright notes of raspberries, olives, and spiced blackberry jam. The palate has a rustic elegance, with juicy fruit and a dusty, tannic edge. It’s ready to drink now but could benefit from some extra time in the bottle.
