Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt Scotch Whisky Review
While the number of classic cocktails calling for Scotch is dwarfed by the laundry list of drinks that utilize bourbon and rye, sometimes nothing tops a well-made Bobby Burns or Penicillin. For such occasions, the affordable price and approachable flavor of Monkey Shoulder makes it a stellar mixing spirit. The nose dishes up a bouquet of orchard fruit laced with toffee sweetness, which segues into a round, rich palate.
