Glenmorangie Original 12 Review
If “GlenMo” is no longer all that exciting to Scotch nerds, even they would have to agree there’s really nothing to dislike about this entry-level dram, especially at such a friendly price. It’s citrusy on the nose, with vanilla and sweet stone fruit on the palate, leading to a mildly spicy (cinnamon candy) finish. Despite the lower proof (40 percent ABV), there’s a creaminess of mouthfeel that makes this endlessly drinkable whether neat, on a cube, or even in cocktails. What can we say? This is just flawless single malt and a great place for a Scotch beginner to get started.
