Meikle Toir The Sherry One Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Review
Aged in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso casks for five years, this peated Speyside single malt shows that a lot can be accomplished in a rather short aging period. Stone fruits take center stage on the nose with peat smokiness lingering in the background. These characteristics pull a 180 on the palate, as we’re delighted by bold peat influence underscored by ripe berries and dark chocolate.
