Mark Ryan Winery 'The Dissident' 2021 Review
Mark Ryan loves rock 'n' roll and wine. He began his wine career out of his garage like any garage band worth their salt. Today, he is one of the premier winemakers in Washington State. Keeping true to his rock roots you'll find some fun nods to the grunge era and beyond on his labels. This Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend is bordering on epic. Focused pepper notes mingle with blackberry fruit on the nose. The palate is a study in structure with a solid tannic edge and amazing foundational acidity. Enjoy this wine with a hearty meal or hold onto it for a few years to see how it develops.
