Marchesi de Frescobaldi Tenuta Ammiraglia 'Alie' Toscana Rosato IGT 2018 Review
On the nose the wine is a bit muted with quiet aromas of white pepper and under-ripe peach. Clean and lean on the palate, the fruit struggles to emerge, with a saline quality overpowering the profile. If you sipped this while noshing on a pile of aged cheese like Parm or Manchego this wine would jive; on its own it could be perceived as bitter.
