Long Meadow Ranch Pinot Noir 2015 Review
This is a big Pinot, but right in line with what big Pinots are supposed to be like. Unctuous notes of mushroom and plowed earth are the first to present themselves, followed by classic cherry aromas mingling with savory black olive and clove. On the palate the tannins have a good grip showing age-worthiness with added aromas of cinnamon and an overarching floral vibe. If you splurge on a case it’ll be fun to watch this wine evolve further.
