Laphroaig 10 Year Sherry Oak Finish Review
The sherry cask influence on this Laphroaig whisky tempers its smokiness to great avail, resulting in a highly concentrated profile that evolves with time in glass. The price tag may seem steep for a 10-year-old expression from a major producer, but its higher-than-average ABV of 48 percent shows that a conscious decision was made to preserve this whisky’s wonderful character and not stretch out stocks by lowering the proof.
