La Crema Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2016 Review
Heat-spiked aromas from the high alcohol open with cherry cola and vanilla liqueur. On the palate these ethanol soaked aromas carry over, but are muted by a dry crushed rock note forming a ceiling over the wine. Feels like this is one of those Pinots pushing the limits for profit, but is balanced enough so as not to completely offend.
