Kiona Vineyards Estate Bottled Red Mountain Reserve 2022 Review
Kiona was the first to plant vines on Red Mountain in Washington State. The winery’s legacy can be seen and tasted through their extensive yet focused and quality-driven lineup of wines produced by winemaker Tyler Williams and his team. This earthy red blend has notes of wild berries just off the branch, with the slightest hint of sage and a whisper of eucalyptus on the wonderfully aromatic nose. The mouthfeel is just right with a medium depth and almost perfect balance between fruit and acidity. The weight is elegant and the finish is long.
