Iterum Old Friend Arlyn Pinot Noir 2021 Review
Drinking Iterum wine is like participating in one of the most enjoyable and elegant science experiments. They work with multiple clones and varying terroirs to bring different expressions to their wines. And their labels reflect these ideas in location and clone type while this all sounds very geeky it's just very delicious wine. This wine is a single vineyard expression a favorite clone of the winemaker's, 4407 grown in the Chehalem Mountains. It is focused and beautiful on the nose with some savory notes of black pepper layered beneath classic cherry aromas with a hint of aged balsamic. The palate is graceful and elegant with wonderful depth and balance.
