Ingrid Groiss Ried Hasenhaide Angel’s Kiss Rosé 2022 Review
Ingrid Groiss is from a family whose winemaking history goes back centuries. So naturally she studied winemaking at Universität für Bodenkultur in Vienna, then took over the operations at her family’s vineyards in Austria's Niederösterreich region. Her first course of action was to convert the land to organic and sustainable agriculture. Her bio states that, “She is supremely passionate about her wines,” and this comes through loud and clear in this rosé. It’s so expressive and floral with a pop of raspberries and soft, overripe strawberries. The balance on the palate is absolute with refreshing acidity seamlessly lifting a soft creamy mouthfeel that draws you in.
