Inglenook Sauvignon Blanc 2023 Review

Inglenook is one of the most historic wineries we have in the U.S. It was established by Finnish sea captain and fur trader Gustave Niebaum in the late 19th Century. Today, the winery is in the hands of the Coppola family. This Sauvignon Blanc bottling takes a cue from Bordeaux, blending in 24 percent Semillon for added body and texture. Time aging in new French oak, neutral French oak, and stainless steel also adds complexity. The result is a wine with a rich body and a balance of bright and creamy notes — thick Greek yogurt, lemon zest, and freshly cut grass.
