Freemark Abbey Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 Review

Calling all ballers who enjoy sharing! This wine is only available on the winery’s website and clocks in at well over $100, but damn is it good. This is a legacy winery with deep historic connections to the region and wow does that legacy hold up. This wine is worth the price with deep dark berry fruit wrapped around silky tannin (it’s aging so well). The inherent peppery notes from the grape can be experienced as the wine opens a bit but if you are spending on this bottle do NOT let it sit and open while you wait. Sip this bottle from cork to punt immediately after opening and watch how one of the best evolves in the glass. And sharing is caring.
