Flora Springs Wild Boar Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 Review
Flora Komes had a full life before she discovered a winery in Napa with her husband. It was a property that many had passed on, but she saw potential. This was the beginning of a journey of decades of hard work and strategic expansion. Over the years different winemakers have been a part of this team but it has always stayed true to Flora’s vision. Although their flagship wine is a red blend, this Cabernet is age-worthy, but also delicious to drink now. It has a big dollop of oak on the nose and palate which works with the concentration of fruit, giving it depth. The palate is powerful with a soft mouthfeel. The tannins are quite young, and in a few years will bring even more layers to this wine.
