Esterhazy Blaufrankisch 2015 Review
This wine has the lean roundness of a Pinot Noir, the softness of a Merlot, and the bold grip of a Cab Franc. It’s such a cool wine. The nose has a slight smoky note, and smells like twiggy blackberries and mocha. The acidity is nice, making the wine a little lean. It could benefit from twenty minutes or so in the fridge.
