Drumshanbo Sausage Tree Irish Vodka Review
A marriage of Irish and African ingredients, this unusual vodka contains a base of Irish grain, wild Irish nettle, and fruit from the Kigelia Africana (a.k.a. Sausage Tree), which is actually poisonous to humans unless dried, roasted, or fermented. Each sip is herbaceous and nuanced with a mineral-rich finish, like a balanced gin without the juniper.
