Drumshanbo Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey Review
This whiskey from Drumshanbo was crafted from a complex mash of malted Irish barley, un-malted Irish barley, and Irish Barra oats. Triple distilled in copper pots and matured for at least five years in first-fill bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, Drumshanbo's Single Pot Still dishes up cereal and oak notes from nose to finish, with a wisp of savory sherry cask influence peppered throughout. The bourbon barrel flavor shines through on the palate, adding layers of caramel, chocolate, and spice.
