Dominique Piron 'La Chanaise' Morgon 2021 Review
Morgon is the largest and most well-known of the ten crus of Beaujolais. Wines from this appellation have been showing us in the American market for decades how Gamay can offer complexity as well as be chilled and enjoyed. This wine is balanced, spicy, and juicy with extremely quiet yet present hints of cinnamon. The palate is wonderful with savory and fruit-forward harmony. It’s a pleasant wine from start to finish and reigns in the chill department.
