Domaine Bousquet Gran Malbec 2019 Review

The Gualtallary Valley in the Tupungato district of the Uco Valley has some of the highest vineyards in Mendoza, and it’s here that French winemaker Jean Bousquet decided to plant vines: a place locals had forgotten. Today, his daughter and her husband carry on Jean’s legacy. This Malbec is a nice reflection of tons of sun and high elevation. It’s soft yet powerful with a deep fruit core and great natural acidity framed by prominent tannins. A great wine to buy a few of and share at the dinner table.
