Denner Vineyards Dirt Worshipper 2018 Review

This wine makes me scream. One whiff up my nose and I want to share it with everyone in the same way you want to force a friend (in this case CEO Adam Teeter) to sit and listen to a favorite song. I also want to share with no one and have it all to myself (sorry Adam). It is so damn balanced, so damn expressive, and an excellent example of how diverse California wine can be. The nose is vibrant with earthy, bright fruit balanced by a contrast of scrub brush herbs like rosemary and oregano with a twig of tarragon. All while the wine sits in your glass under this is a quiet layer of black pepper. The acidity is perfect; if you were ever to have lamb with an American wine, this is the one. Good luck sharing.
