No, your eyes do not deceive you: This is a 16-year-old rye that retails for less than $80 — and it's widely available. Those numbers only scratch the surface of this release's wonder. Its aromas arrive with dazzling intensity, jumping from kettle corn and violets to juicy cherries and sweet candy. The palate is complex and nuanced, thanks to the lengthy maturation period and bold pepper-spiced notes.
