Not very Sauvignon Blanc-y, with notes of pie crust and lemon curd. There is some apricot and lemongrass, with a touch of basil, which is the closest this wine gets to the varietal character. The palate is lean and there is a fruit void on the mid palate. If wine is not the focus, this wine would do well at an event.
