Chateau d'Esclans Cotes de Provence 'Les Clans' 2016 Review
One of the most structured rosé wines out there, this wine is mature and has some age on it, which is not common for this style of wine. There are some oxidative notes of honey (kind of like sherry) along with some white white peach and a hint of orange peel. On the palate vanilla emerges and the tannin creates a firm grip, while still allowing the wine’s even, almost perfect acidity to hold all the characteristics in harmony. It is a beautiful wine, but the price is more for wine geeks and ballers buying for their infinity pool party then people wanting to crush rosé in the sun.
