Castle & Key 'Restoration Rye' (2022) Review
All in all, this year’s Castle & Key Restoration Rye is just as good, if not better, than last year’s release. The nose bursts with assertive rye spice and just a touch of black licorice. The mash bill consists of 63 percent rye, 17 percent yellow corn, and 20 percent malted barley, making for a brilliant, balanced palate with an understated oak influence woven throughout. At only $45, this expression offers some of the best bang for your buck in the rye space.
