Buzzard's Roost Char #1 Rye Review
This release is aged in Buzzard's Roost's proprietary "Char #1" casks for 4 years, imparting cherry and dark berry notes on the nose. Those aromas carry over to the palate, while cooling spearmint and peppery cedar flavors blossom to the surface. At 95 percent rye and 5 percent malted barley, this is a lovely expression that doesn’t overwhelm the senses with too much spice.
