Castello di Gabbiano Chianti Classico DOCG 2020 Review
Coming from South Casciano in the Val di Pesa zone of Chianti Classico just west of Florence is this delicious and affordable Chianti. It's mostly Sangiovese with a small dose of Merlot that rounds it out. It has a classic nose with tart cherries and a dollop of fresh earth. The palate is bright and grippy with more tart red fruit notes.
