Casarena Bodega y Vinedos "Areyna" Malbec 2016 Review

This wine is $15 and a goddamn success. Vibrant notes of red and black fruit roll around your brain when your nose is up in that glass; spearmint darts left and right on the peripherals with some herby ganja creeping out of the focused aromas of soil that will please any organic or “natural” wine lover (it’s neither of these). If you were ever wondering what the term fruit forward meant, here is a prime example. It’s a juicy, quenching wine that has a lot to say. This a great bottle to have on offer for any get together. It will pair with almost anything and with a slight chill during the summer months...damn.
