Bruliam Wines Gaps Crown Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016 Review
The alcohol is high and can bite back a bit but there is some fun happening here with ripe cherry and raspberry flecked with citrusy rhubarb. The earthier aromas of truffle and clove with a hint of leather move toward the core of the wine letting others ride the edges. As it opens vanilla from the oak emerges with a touch of cola. Some time in bottle may calm everything down a bit and harmonize the juice.
