Bravium Russian River Valley Chardonnay 2016
Review
Red apples topped with vanilla infused lemon curd is all I can think about when I stick my nose in the glass. This wine has a nice depth to it, with a lean acidity to contrast a bit and not let the oak overwhelm. But there is a significant amount of said oak influence, which takes away from the harmony of other aromas though not too much due to the gloriously low 13.5% alcohol. It’s a bit too oaked out for food, but would be nice for a crowd of diverse palate preferences.
