Rijckaert Arbois ‘En Paradis’ Chardonnay Vieilles Vignes 2020 Review
Arbois, a sub-region of France's Jura, is not far from Burgundy in eastern France. So it makes sense that Chardonnay thrives here, too. The nose is mineral-driven with tight, even fruit aromas. The palate is textured and crisp with beautiful fruit and amazing acidity. There's well-integrated oak aromas of baking spices on the nose. The palate has great balance between bright citrus and orchard fruit, with a creamy mouthfeel.
