Boeger Winery Cabernet Franc 2016 Review
I could hang out with this wine all night. Cab Franc is often one dimensional from Cali, but here we have what I believe is the exact American-style winemakers should be shooting for. Beautifully structured, it is a wine of true Cab Franc character, with cracked black pepper and herbs, along with hints of blackberry fruit and plum. The acidity is just right, and the alcohol is perfect. It’s only available online, but man is it worth buying a case.
