Bodega Amalaya Brut Nature NV Review
This is a fun blend of Riesling and Torrontes from the higher elevations of Argentina in Salta, where these grapes can thrive. There is a great balance between the varieties and at only $14 a bottle, this is a winner. Both of these grapes are highly aromatic alone but high up in Salta the sugar production is more gradual with more control. The notes of green apple, orange blossom, and pineapple with a hint of honeysuckle is balanced by a bracing perception of acidity. If you are looking to switch up the bubbly in your life this crowd pleaser will do the work and then some.
