Blue Point and Presidente describe this limited-edition collaboration as a "specialty golden pilsner." It's brewed with plantains, which gives it an extra-bitter bite that adds to its yeasty pilsner aroma with traces of citrus. On the palate, it’s bitterness up front and center, carrying all the way through to the finish. Added to this is a distinct hoppy character that's bold for a Dominican-inspired pilsner. That said, if you drink it ice cold, its frothy texture and bright, crisp flavor will go down easy.
