Billsboro Winery Chardonnay 2021 Review
Vinny Aliperti is a New Yorker who fell in love with wine after watching his grandfather make it in his Queens cellar. He made his way to the Hamptons working with Wölffer Estate and eventually landed in the Finger Lakes where he and his wife Kim bought the Billsboro Winery. This wine exists in between deep and lean. There is ample acidity which really brightens it up, but the depth of fruit that comes in pushes the high tone to the background on the palate. It's a wonderfully balanced wine on the leaner side of Chard.
