Barboursville Vineyards Reserve Viognier 2017 Review
Oh wow this is good. Viognier is killing it on the east coast. This is an excellent example of how aromatic and balanced wines from this grape can be, with aromas of wet stone, apricot and orange blossom on the nose. Because of the glorious low alcohol the palate is comfy, and not cloying, but interwoven with great acidity and viscosity. If you have yet to try Viognier, start here.
