The cowboy energy at Ancient Peaks is no joke. You can see some really cool stuff on their website. Three longtime ranchers came together to create this winery with an old-west sensibility while making modern wine that stays true to the land they love. It comes through in this wine. It's big and deep, long and meaty with a quiet channel of minerality running throughout. That minerality is also on the palate, allowing you to enjoy the wonderful inherent pepperiness of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
